The mystery of Love at first sight

A person who is in love can hardly understand his own emotions and is not able to understand himself fully. So, he /she can't sit down and consider his/her feelings. But scientists can.

So they studied the phenomenon of love at first sight. Psychologists and scientists investigated this phenomenon in details. The conclusion was that love at first sight was the result of our egoism.

According to researches people find attractive those people who find attractive them. The attraction is based on the certain signs and signals. The smile is also a signal to another person saying "I'm interested in you." So, scientists consider these reasons to be the sources of love at first sight.

According to the words of psychologists love at first sight is justified by evolution. To attract the opposite sex animals need special signals but it was considered for a long time that people didn't have such signs. Now scientists explain love at first sight to be the signal for the opposite sex.

But still scientists have sceptical opinion about love at first sight. According to their calculation the real love can appear only a year later after a long period of romantic relations.

Does love at first sight exist? Some people say it does. The main argument of such people is that when you see a person and love appears you feel such emotions that can't be explained. Sometimes one minute is enough to fall in love at first sight.

We live in the century of "high speed". All our life has crazy rates of development. Talks, books, even articles in newspapers have become shorter. People don't have enough time. The same happens in love. Marriages don't last for too long nowadays as well as all the dates and meetings. The only sight is enough for the person to form opinion about him/her and to fall in love.

Of course to begin to feel something real it is necessary a lot of time. You can like his/her appearance at first sight by you don't know him, you didn't communicate with him/her, you don't know his/her behaviour etc. These all are the factors that influence on our life and our love.

So, maybe sympathy or passion may appear at first sight because the physical look of people is very important for our potential couple. When you meet a person the certain emotions appear and you form your own opinion about a person.

According to researches when a person sees another of the opposite sex, he/she considers him/her in the role of his/her couple. And if the person imagines himself/herself with another one, special emotions appear that can be confused with love.

But of course there are many cases when people met each other and fell in love at first sight. Such couples have happy life.

The phenomenon of love still can't be defined and explained. People wonder about the qualities and sources of love. The reasons of love can't be explained exactly too. So nobody can confirm or deny the existence of love in general and love at first sight.
